Who we are
This app helps you keep habits and, if you want, keep each other going in small groups.
The app is run by Szabo Zoltan Cristian, an individual based in Romania, European Union. I decide how your data is used, so I am the data controller.
What we collect and why
Your email address. We use it to send you the sign-in link and to know which account is yours.
Your display name. Other members of your groups see it.
Your goals: the title, whether it is daily or weekly, and the weekdays you chose. Your routines: their names. We need these to run the app.
Your check-ins: the day, whether you marked it done or skipped, and an optional note of up to 280 characters. We need these to show your progress and streaks.
Your group memberships, including which of your goals you share with a group.
Reports. If a member reports another member, we keep who reported, who was reported, and the reason (up to 500 characters). This helps keep groups safe.
Failed invite-code attempts. We keep them so that nobody can guess codes again and again (rate limiting).
Goal titles and notes are free text. Please do not write sensitive details in them, such as health information.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. We do not sell your data.
Why we may use your data
To run your account, goals, check-ins and groups we rely on the contract between you and me: the terms of use (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
To keep groups safe (reports) and to stop code guessing (failed invite attempts) we rely on our legitimate interest in running a safe service (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use consent as the basis for any use of your data. At sign-up you confirm your age and accept the terms.
Who can see it
Other members of a group see only your display name and whether you checked in, or a Rest day. They never see your goal title, your notes, your other goals or your history.
I can see the reports that members send.
Your daily reminder is scheduled on your phone only. Nothing about it is sent to a server.
We do not share your data with anyone else, except the services that run the app, described in the next section.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Supabase, in a data centre region in Ireland (European Union).
Sign-in emails are sent through Brevo, an email service provider based in France. Brevo handles your email address and the sign-in message when it is sent, and keeps delivery records (your email address and the time sent) for up to one month. It does not keep a copy of the message.
Access to the data is limited by rules in the database, so each person can reach only their own data. No system is perfectly safe, so I cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete your account. When you delete your account, all your data is removed.
Reports are deleted automatically after 12 months. Failed invite-code attempts are deleted automatically after 30 days. A report is also deleted if the person who made it, or the person it is about, deletes their account.
Your rights and how to use them
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, and get a copy of it.
In the app: you can change your display name, goals and notes yourself. Use Profile > Export my data to download your data as a file. Use Profile > Delete my account to delete your account and all your data.
If you need something else, write to the email address in the Contact section.
You can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in your own country.
Children
You must be at least 16 years old to use this app. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
If you think a person under 16 has an account, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in an important way, we will tell you in the app before the change starts.
